Mario – Princess Peach Kidnapped Again

Princess Peach and constantly being kidnapped were an enormous meme long before memes were a thing. Nintendo is fairly aware of this – in Paper Mario: Color Splash, a Toad tells you earnestly that “Mario! Princess Peach has been kidnapped by Bowser!
