Remnant: From the Ashes

As a follow-up to the underrated Chronos, Gunfire Games’ Remnant: From the Ashes delivered some well realized worlds and stellar gunplay to go with its Souls-like tendencies. Earth itself has collapsed due to the otherworldly Root and players must visit other worlds via the Labyrinth, including the scorched remains of Rhom, all for the sake of entering Ward 13 and defeating the Root. Though not a narrative tour de force, Remnant still offered plenty of challenging and fun encounters.
