Musou Rage first appeared in Dynasty Warrior 5 as tokens that players could pick up for 15 second buffs to attack and defense. The feature is expanded further in Dynasty Warrior 8 – attack enemies to fill the Rage Gauge and when triggered, the player turns into a fodder slaying machine. Along with boosted stats, you gain access to Rage Attacks and your enemies lose the ability to live. It’s a nice feeling.
