Some Devs Only Care About Consoles and Not PC

If you played any Call of Duty in the last few years or seen the criticism levelled at Ubisoft for its PC ports, you’ll no doubt have heard about studios only caring about consoles. If Call of Duty’s developers only liked consoles, then they wouldn’t be pushing for field of view sliders or high frame rates. Activision wouldn’t have dedicated so many resources to porting Destiny 2 to PC. Game development is a multi-headed beast and it’s hard to say what priority a publisher or developer will have next. But at the end of the day, when resources are being invested in a set amount of platforms, you can be sure it’s because the studios care about them all. Even if they have to be taken off store shelves and fixed like Batman: Arkham Knight.
