Tidus Departs – Final Fantasy 10
The journey across Spira and the quest to defeat Sin united the various oddities of Final Fantasy 10, Yuna and Tidus included. However, even if Tidus is merely a summoned memory of the dreaming Fayth, the emotional bond the two formed was real. So when Tidus proclaimed that he had to go and Yuna simply shook her head like a child, you knew the waterworks were coming. It only became more heart-breaking when she realized Tidus was corporeal, leading to the latter embracing her before finally departing.
