MACHINE DESIGNS
Yet another area where Horizon Forbidden West shows off its attention to detail is the design of its machines, all of which are made up of a startling number of distinct parts and components, each of them constantly visible in all of their glorious detail. From the solar panels on a Sunwing to the spikes on top of a Slaughterspine to the deadly claws of a Clawstrider, there’s a ridiculous level of detail displayed in each machine’s design. Even more impressive is watching them visibly become more and more deformed and broken down as a fight progresses and you chip away at their health and break off more and more of their components.
