5. Quantum Break

Of all the developers whose games have made this list, Remedy is one of the oldest. The Finnish studio got their start in 1996 with Death Rally, but became famous for the Max Payne franchise, and later, the criminally underrated Alan Wake. Remedy’s relationship with Microsoft goes back a long way, so it’s no surprise that their newest title, Quantum Break, is exclusive to Xbox One. Like most of Remedy’s games, the title is a third-person shooter with a mechanic that allows you to slow down time, and will feature live-action videos blended with regular gameplay. It’s hard to describe how cool the time mechanics in Quantum Break look, so you should watch the above video for the skinny on the gameplay. From what we’ve seen so far,however, it looks like Sam Lake and co. have another winner on their hands.
