10. Crackdown

A few of you may remember Crackdown; it was the game that came with a copy of Halo 3’s beta. Seriously, though, Crackdown was one of the first of the modern open world superhero games, with the added quirk that you actually upgraded your abilities by using them, which was a unique take on the traditional leveling system.The best part of Crackdown, though, was doing crazy stuff with your buddies as the announcer with the ridiculously deep voice yelled things like “Skills for kills, Agent!” in the background. Classic. The best part about the new one? It looks like it carries that same sense of humor. Now, if only it will let me blow up a skyscraper by running into it with a semi-truck…
