Halo 5: Guardians looks to be a return to form for the series. Sure, it’ll have a campaign that will continue the franchise’s epic story, but the real draw for most people is the multiplayer. Guardians promises a return to the arena style of everyone is equal, map and weapon control oriented gameplay that made Halo a phenomenon, and a staple of the competitive scene. Many people were disappointed by Halo 4’s multiplayer offerings, but if 343 can fix those misfires in Halo 5, they’ll have something special on their hands.

Well, that wraps up our look at 2015’s shooters. But what do you think? Are you looking forward to all of the multiplayer titles coming out next year, or are you a single-player guy? Are their games you’re looking forward to that didn’t make the cut? Let us know in the comments, and keep it tuned to GamingBolt for news on these, and other titles coming out next year.
