STAR FOX
Star Fox is one of the few franchises that Nintendo hasn’t done a very good job of handling well, but when they were paying attention to the beloved series and trying new things with it almost constantly, they were finding great success. Though Star Fox has mostly been known as an on-rails 3D scrolling shooter series, with Star Fox Adventures, the franchises ventured into the proper third person action adventure space (and did it pretty well), while with Star Fox Command, it even tried its hand at some turn-based strategy.
