SKULL AND BONES
It may be hard to remember now, but cast your mind back to when Skull and Bones was first announced- people were hyped! A standalone game that expands on Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag’s incredible naval gameplay? That was an exciting premise, and its first couple of showings actually looked really good. Of course, then Skull and Bones went on to spend several years in development hell, and after countless reboots and delays, when it finally released in 2024, it had been years since anyone had genuinely expected it to be good- or hell, to release.
