Resident Evil 3
Resident Evil 3 is yet another stellar looking title built on the RE Engine, with fully deferred rendering for numerous dynamic lights, shadow caching and subsurface scattering shaders. All of this helps Raccoon City pop while enhancing some of the moodier scenes. Capcom also went above and beyond with its character models – along with overhauling the designs, each model sports crazy high polygon counts. Combine this with effects like per-object motion blur, volumetrics, and particle effects, and Raccoon City has never looked better.
