Final Fantasy 7 Remake
Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake has been criticized for some ugly textures here and there. Nonetheless, the overall remake process is as much a trip down memory lane as a top-notch visual showcase for the PS4. It’s simply incredible to see the PS One classic updated with this level of fidelity, and everything, from the character models to the added detail in environments, is flush with detail. Per-object motion blur during gameplay and temporal anti-aliasing add to that while the frame rate performance stays relatively solid with some minor drops. Even if RPGs aren’t your thing, Final Fantasy 7 Remake warrants a look.
