Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time – Faster Than Sound

Among the many challenges that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has to offer are Time Trials. These become available once the Dimensional Map is unlocked but you can only partake in Time Trials for levels that have been cleared once. So first, you need to finish the entire game, then go back to a level and look for the stopwatch to start the Time Trial. While you can hit different boxes to effectively stop the timer in the Trials (thus giving you more time to complete the level), there are no checkpoints or extra lives. Each Time Trial has different grades with Platinum being the second highest. So if you want to fully 100 percent the game and maybe unlock the secret ending, you have to aim for the Platinum grade in all 38 levels, completing them as quickly as possible with no mistakes or checkpoints. This unlocks the “Faster Than Sound” Trophy and hopefully leaves you with some sanity left (because there’s also a Trophy tied to getting all of the N. Sanely Perfect Relics).
