Monster Hunter World isn’t technically an open world game, and instead consists of a collection of large, open maps. But each of its maps is a stunning environment, brought to life with beautiful visuals and strong art design. The ecosystem of all the monsters the game consists of never fails to impress, and continues to breathe life into the world throughout your journey. Going out into the world for each of your hunts feels like an exciting adventure, not only because of the game’s incredibly strong gameplay loop itself, but also because simply existing in its large, lush, and beautiful environments, and watching all the monsters interact with each other, is a wonderful experience.
