Dark Souls 2
Souls-borne fans fall into two categories – those who like Dark Souls 2 and those who don’t. The sequel started crumbling from its ambitions fairly early in development and while FromSoftware righted the ship, much of its unevenness remained. Fans criticised the direction, the graphical downgrade and the generally underwhelming bosses. To be fair, Dark Souls 2 is an enjoyable game but it can stick out awkwardly next to FromSoftware greats like Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne.
