Yet another example of Metal Gear pulling no punches when it came to talking about the harsh realities of war, or any kind of violent conflict. While Amanda holds on to her ideals for revolution in order to fight for her country, saying that she doesn’t care what consequences it leads to, Naked Snake – who’s seen and been party to his fair share of senseless violence – tells her that when you really get down to it, those ideals won’t change one simple fact- war is hell.
