Bandai Namco’s anime-esque hack and slash uses the stamina system and dodging inherent in Dark Souls but adds unique twists like AI partners, a bonding system, and special attacks. Difficulty-wise, it’s more about anticipating the enemies hiding in different corners of the map, though higher level foes can destroy you if you’re not careful. The bosses are a completely different matter, utilizing fast and wide-ranging attacks that deal tons of damage. Companions will revive you, which makes things somewhat easier, but you’ll still be working to manage fights without relying on them to do too much.
