The Upgrade Pricing Fiasco
When it announced that Horizon Forbidden West would be coming to PS5 and PS4, Sony promised that upgrades for previous-gen owners would be free. The problem is that it didn’t offer this when pre-orders went live. You couldn’t even pay to upgrade, which led to justifiable backlash. Sony would backtrack, as it does, and deliver on the free upgrades while noting that future cross-gen titles would receive a $10 upgrade option.
