Realistic. Cartoon.
Crackdown 3 takes place in a dystopian city of the future. With a deep, dark palette of night shaded colors (from what has been shown so far), this game doesn’t completely play on the totally realistic looking side of next gen gaming. Crackdown 3 is a cel-shaded masterpiece. A bit cartoony, a bit realistic. For those unfamiliar with what cel-shaded gaming is exactly, think “Jet Set Radio, or The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.” But of course, take those games and dim the colors to more dense, somber tones.
