Star Wars Jedi – Fallen Order
EA is one of those names where each new announcement from the gaming company generally invokes much stronger feelings of caution and skepticism than hype and anticipation. There are plenty of reasons as to why that’s the case, and the recent Star Wars Battlefront’s launch debacles are prime examples of EA’s anti-consumer practices. So when EA announced that it was working on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order when the wounds caused by Battlefront 2’s loot boxes were still fresh – many were convinced that it was yet another train wreck waiting to happen.
But thankfully, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order turned out to be a pleasant surprise instead. It’s an honest single-player game with an engaging story and fun combat that makes you feel like a Jedi. Sure, the game’s launch was far from the smoothest with performance issues and technical inefficiencies plaguing the game, but those issues have been ironed out with post launch updates. It’s also one of the better games from EA in recent memory, and Jedi Fallen Order is one of the many reasons behind the publisher’s newly earned public goodwill.
