How shocking was it to see Akuma emerge as the true final boss in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo? While the evil fighter appeared again as the final boss in the arcade version of Street Fighter 4, Capcom further upped the ante by having another final boss. Who else would it be but Gouken, the master of Ryu and Ken? Gouken was included as an homage to the Sheng Long hoax for Street Fighter 2 and would become a playable character in the console versions.
