SimCity Online Only connection

Similar to an earlier entry, EA’s revival of a classic series was unfortunately saddled with some unfortunate garbage that hampered the enjoyment of the diehard players. According to Electronic Arts, the Online Only forced connection that even solo players to partake had a purpose. Outwardly they said it had to do with the vision of a connected world experience, and with offloading computations to the cloud.
