9. Foremost Focus On Single Player
The second Doom title was playable on LAN too and it was a great added feature. Id Software has to be mindful that it was a great auxiliary feature and not something that made the game per se. Of course with the ubiquitous use of the internet, almost every game nowadays has multiplayer option, but multiplayer was never what defined Doom as it has been till now.
It was always the memorable and adrenaline pumped scary and haphazard rushing through the rooms that made the game so. Doom 4’s main focus should be on making the single player of the game as brilliant as its forerunners. Multiplayer options are welcome but that’s not what we’re looking for mandatorily in this game.
