TIMELINE PLACEMENT (THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD)
This is a question that tortures Zelda fans with every new entry in the series, but never has it been more pertinent than it is with Breath of the Wild. Here at GamingBolt, we’ve spoken a great deal about the timeline split and about how Breath of the Wild can fit into any one (or neither) of Zelda’s timelines. And that’s because the game is purposefully designed that way. It is purposefully vague about which timeline it fits into, and alludes to all possibilities on different occasions. Recently, Nintendo confirmed that they would never reveal which timeline the game falls in, that that is something they want to leave up to the imagination of the fans. Honestly, if you ask me, that just means that Nintendo doesn’t know that itself, and just wants us all to stop asking about it.
