Horizon Forbidden West
We’d heard plenty of times about how the DualSense’s triggers can mimic the tension of a bowstring being pulled, awaiting that inevitable announcement of the next Horizon. Lo and behold, Horizon Forbidden West was announced and it takes advantage of this very thing. Not much other information was available but game director Mathijs de Jonge did state that the triggers would help “make the weapons feel even more unique and satisfying to use.” Given that there are new weapons, some with specific roles for humans and machines, we can probably expect other interesting functions to be revealed in the coming year.
