Demon’s Souls
For all the credit that Dark Souls gets, there’s just something darker about Demon’s Souls. Bluepoint Games and Sony Japan Studio will look to capture that with the remake, right down using the DualSense’s haptics to make combat “feel grittier, darker, and deadlier” as per creative director Gavin Moore. Each blow used to take down foes and the weight of an enemy attack will be felt and Moore says there will be some “extra sensory feedback” to inform players of successful hits and parries. This allows for a sense and feel to combat in addition to watching and reacting to attacks.
