Silent Hill

Though Silent Hill had a few games in 2012, both Silent Hill: Book of Memories and Silent Hill: Downpour were pretty much garbage. There was some hope with 2014’s P.T. aka Silent Hills but that was pretty much iced as well. It’s not that the franchise is outright gone but it’s felt like forever since we’ve seen anything on the scale of the first three games, much less like Silent Hill 4: The Room. Will that psychological, Carpenter-style horror ever return? One could certainly hope…or they could rage at Konami filing a trademark for what’s seemingly another Silent Hill gambling machine.
