Street Fighter 5
Coming off of Ultra Street Fighter 4, Capcom seemingly had everything it needed to make Street Fighter 5 a success. However, it was revealed to have little content – standard features like Arcade Mode were just gone – and several issues with its systems that reduced the skill gap at launch. This isn’t even taking into account all of the problems with online matchmaking and net-code Overtime, Capcom would add content to the game, bringing back Arcade Mode and implementing more story content, while further improving the gameplay with new V-Triggers, fighters and much more. Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition continues that trend, offering all of its DLC in one compelling package. While no stranger to controversies after launch (see: Adverts during fights), Capcom continues to work on the sequel and support it for fans.
