BOOSTED BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY (PS5 AND XBOX SERIES X)
Both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X promise visual and performance boosts to games running via backward compatibility. It’s been confirmed that both consoles will “boost” games at a system-level- which means that rather than developers having to implement improvements, the consoles themselves will be doing that stuff. This, in turn, should mean that games should be able to run at higher frame rates and resolutions than what they natively supported.
