Nintendo’s Metroid Prime 4 was formally announced at E3 2017 but we don’t really know how long that version was in development for. Subsequently, the project was rebooted by earlier this year and development handed off to Retro Studios. It might be not be completely possible for Nintendo to provide an update at E3 but it definitely won’t be showcased.
