A LOOK AT NEXT-GEN

E3 is always an exciting event, but it’s at its peak when a new generation of consoles is around the corner. E3 2012 wasn’t the year we saw next generation hardware, but we did get a look at what software on that hardware would look like. Star Wars 1313 and Watch Dogs both impressed one and all with their respective reveals, and excited millions of people with their showings. Of course, Watch Dogs was a huge step down from its reveal in truth, and Star Wars 1313 would go on to be cancelled- but back when we first saw those games (and many others), we could not have been more excited for the next generation to finally roll around.
