NOSTALGIA OVERLOAD

E3 2015 has gone down in history as one of the greatest of all time- more specifically, it was Sony’s show that stole the, well, show. And that’s because with their press event, they delivered a one-two-three punch of one unbelievable announcement after the other. The Last Guardian, finally coming out with a specific release date announced, after years in development hell. Then Final Fantasy 7 Remake, an ambitious announcement that shook the industry, which they had also somehow managed to keep a secret. And that, of course, was followed immediately by the announcement for Shenmue 3, the conclusion to a cult favourite franchise that had gone on hiatus long, long ago.
