Forza might be the be-all and end-all for Microsoft’s racing games now, but back in the Xbox years, they had multiple horses in the race. Another one of those was Project Gotham Racing, and as a large number of people will still tell you, it was truly special. Project Gotham Racing 2, in fact, is still one of the best racing sims of its time. Boasting tight and engaging driving mechanics and an emphasis on authenticity and production values, PGR2 was one of the best racing games of an era that had no shortage of excellent racers.
