The sixth console generation saw the sports genre at its creative best, where developers were coming out with ridiculously and engaging experiences across the industry. What Tony Hawk did for skateboarding, SSX did for snowboarding, and this series, too, reached untouchable heights with its third entry. SSX 3 was gorgeous, controlled like a dream, boasted tight mechanics, and was consistently an absolute blast to play. It’s very much a timeless classic in its own right.
