Half-Life 2 is one of the greatest games ever made, so obviously it’s one of the best Xbox games as well. Back when it first came out, Valve’s first person shooter took the industry by storm. It told a captivating story, and told it brilliantly, while constantly taking players from one thrilling, impeccably crafted sequence to the next. Not only was the campaign engrossing and varied though, it also boasted terrific gameplay, ingeniously using physics puzzles as centerpieces for almost everything in the game, including its combat. The end result was a unique, unforgettable game that, honestly, has aged magnificently.
