Towerborne is a 2D cooperative action RPG where players have to explore hand-crafted regions while customizing characters through gear, abilities, and progression trees. Its focus on drop-in multiplayer and loot-driven progression makes it a strong candidate for long-term playability without sacrificing narrative structure. The game’s lighthearted presentation and responsive controls make it approachable, but there’s a lot of stuff to collect.
