4. Mattel Hyperscan

Despite a sensible concept and value for money retail price, Mattel's Hyperscan had a library of only five games, all of which were licensed titles of questionable quality. It did, however, feature a RFID card reader that allowed cards to be scanned in and used to access new abilities and features, an idea not entirely dissimilar to popular trading card games. Despite this innovation, the poor software library ruined the Hyperscan's chances indefinitely.
