Destiny 2
After laying the blueprint of a modern first-person shooter with the Halo trilogy, developer Bungie went on to create Destiny in 2014. And that game would lay the foundation of what would become its magnum opus 3 years down the line. We are, of course, talking about Destiny 2 which still stands tall as one of the best live-service games on the market. And that appreciation can be chalked down to two simple reasons – supremely satisfying gunplay mechanics and constant updates that add meaningful activities to this continuous experience. It’s no surprise that fans continue to clock in hundreds of hours even after 5 years since its release, and things are only looking bright for the game from here on after.
