Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
A sequel that improves on every aspect of its predecessor, except maybe the story, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor sees Cal Kestis continue his struggles against the Galactic Empire. A neat addition from Respawn Entertainment was to including many of Cal’s powerups acquired in Fallen Order without the player having to earn them again. Plus, new abilities like airborne double dashes add elevation to traversing the game’s well-designed semi-open levels. New lightsaber types and combat stances add depth to the game’s fighting too. If it wasn’t for a barrel of technical issues at launch Star Wars Jedi: Survivor would have retained its hype much longer than it did.
