Their long-established design principles are present in Armored Core VI, facets such as refined controls with swift response to player input, challenging combat requiring player skill, and dynamic worlds filled with a prevailing sense of progression – but they’re combined perfectly with the unique feel of mecha-based combat. Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is a real treat for the senses, and an exceptional detour from FromSoft’s usual Soulsborne game design.
