Visceral’s Battlefield Spin-off
E3 2014 will also see EA announcing a new shooter for the crowd. Plans to bring out a new Battlefield this year have already been revealed and analyst Michael Pachter said that Visceral Games was currently working on a spin-off of the franchise for EA. This raises two important points – it won’t be Battlefield: Bad Company 3 unless DICE has passed development duties for the same to Visceral and it will have had a short development cycle. We understand EA’s need to deliver its strongest multiplayer brand to consumers on a yearly basis but after the mistakes made with Battlefield 4, we can only hope they know what they’re doing this time.
