Gears of War (Xbox One)

This is perhaps the height of wishful thinking. Epic Games and Microsoft recently announced that the latter had bought the rights to the franchise and tasked Black Tusk Studios with creating the next game in the franchise. It will be another 2.5 years before the Xbox One-exclusive Gears of War releases though and the dev team is very much in the early stages of production. At this point, it would be ludicrous to think we’d see anything relating to Gears of War at E3. Then again, a short teaser trailer with CG graphics isn’t above Microsoft’s marketing department. Can Black Tusk pull it off with the limited creative time they’ve had or will it just be more smoke and mirrors till actual gameplay can be shown  off next year?
