Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
Ratchet and Clank’s latest adventure had to hit several goals, from being a solid 3D platformer to showcasing the power of the PS5 beyond great visuals. It excelled in both these areas, offering a fun adventure which sees Ratchet, Clank and Rivet battling Dr. Nefarious across multiple dimensions and planets. On the technology side, the console’s SSD allowed for near-instant loading of entire levels along with seamless texture streaming, offering a unique platforming experience with great combat, platforming and exploration.
