30 New Games Announced at E3 2021

Northgard developer Shiro Games is back with something suitably more brutal. In WarTales, you’re the head of a mercenary company in a world beset by the plague. Fight turn-based battles but also have enough food and money to keep your mercs happy. Along with randomly generated mercenaries which have different jobs and skills, there’s the engagement mechanic where your maneuvering will matter (and for which skills are available to either escape or switch an engaged enemy to someone else). Though it doesn’t have a release date, WarTales will enter Steam Early Access later this year.
