Vehicle Sections will be a blast

The latest and greatest are all here for vehicle use. Get ready to see fighter jets, water craft, and land vehicles in what is being called the best online multiplayer experience yet. I absolutely despise vehicles in almost all FPS games online. That being said, Battlefield is single handedly the best at vehicle combat, and has impressed me with it every title. I absolutely loved vehicle warfare in BF2: Modern Combat, and Battlefield 2142. I’m super pumped to see what in store for BF3. There were more personal vehicles in the Bad Company titles, like golf carts for an example. It makes you wonder what kind of wacky stuff we will be able to mess around with this time around.

You will be globe trotting

DICE is boasting about the urban warfare we can expect to see in BF3.  Battlefield has always been known for its sniper and vehicle friendly large terrain. Taking a different approach they have mixed locations from around the world including the USA, Europe, and the Middle East, into one game. We can expect to see everything from high intensity and claustrophobic pinch areas, to vast vehicle friendly landscapes. This will hopefully make for a good mixture of game play styles. Call of duty is more known for its close quarters combat, so hopefully DICE can implement some good building design into an even bigger overall picture.

Gameplay at its best

As far as game play goes, it’s really up in the air to see what kind of new features or game modes we can expect. There could be some really good stuff coming in this department. There is almost undoubtedly going to be a dog fight mode. If you played the remake of 1943 than you know there was the dogfight mode introduced. So let’s hope that they keep that as I think it could be pretty cool with fighter jets. Another exciting innovation they could think about making is possibly cutting off part of a city to make a smaller map with no vehicles and smaller tasks like bomb sites. I think that’s somewhat of a cool idea and really would link the BF name into the competitive scene a little more.
