No Ports

Dice has announced that there will be no ported versions of Battlefield 3. What this means to us is that every version of the game whether we are playing on Plastation 3 or PC, it will be unique to its respective system. There will be no Xbox images on the PC version in layman’s terms. This is exciting because it means that BF3 will run it’s absolutely best on every system. No weird frame bogs from less than par coding and porting techniques. Although, quoted in an interview, DICE’s General Manager Karl-Magnus Troedsson says that PC will be the main version of BF3.

Will be worth the wait

Overall Battlefield 3 has been very long awaited and with all the success of the other BF titles that have come out we can only expect greatness. After all you should take note that when developers put a lot of time in the design and logistics of a game you end up with pure gold. It would be nice to have a game that isn’t totally a rip off of Call of Duty, and is innovative and fun on in its own way. As of right now I think it’s safe to say that BF3 is one of our biggest hopes in seeing that happen. So I say it’s a challenge to you guys over at DICE, give us something that will finally knock out that powerhouse known as Call of Duty!
