Dragon Age: Origins, BioWare’s highly acclaimed Role Playing title, will be getting some DLC on the PC, the 360 and the PS3 on August 10.

According to a post on the official site, the new downloadable pack will have you “delve deep underground to save a missing dwarven expedition in search of ancient secrets for creating monstrous constructs” and find out what actually happened to those blokes.

“Put your Warden back in action and adventure through new environments, meet new characters and defeat never before seen creatures.”

In this new downloadable quest, players will come across “an all-new creature” in a quest which BioWare claims is an “advanced challenge for even the most experienced adventurers.”

You will be able to import your character from Dragon Age: Origins, or you will be able to start anew with a “high-level hero,” and import back any earned rewards and stats into your full game.

BioWare will also reveal the debut trailer for Dragon Age II on August 17th.
