The Last of Us Development Series Looks at the Infected

The horrifying future of humanity is laid bare in this new video.

Naughty Dog has released part one of its development series for the upcoming Playstation 3 exclusive The Last of Us, which focuses on a post-apocalyptic future where nature has over-run civilization and a new breed of humanity if rising up from the ranks.

This new breed – dubbed the Infected – is both vicious and kind of blind. The different stages of Infected have already been detailed but we’d be most familiar with the Clickers, which seemingly only respond to sound and make a clicking noise while walking. Check out part one of the series for more information on the Infected.

And while The Last of Us is still slated for release on the Playstation 3, it could arguably be viewed as one of the most important AAA titles this year even with the PlayStation 4 and its releases looming over it.

The Last of Us is currently slated to release on June 14th for the Playstation 3.
