New Update for God of War: Ascension lowers difficulty of Trials of Archimedes

Fourth Weapon Class coming in the weeks ahead.

A new update for the recently release God of War: Ascension has just hit the ground and a slew of new customization options to the table, as well as a much needed nerf in the difficulty of the excruciatingly difficult Trial of Archimedes level.

The God of War games have never known to brake controllers when it comes to difficulty, but the Trails of Archimedes level just stepped it up to eleven. The section was basically an endurance round with absolutely no health and magic regen in between the waves of enemies. Sony has listened to the woes of gamers and addressed the issue in Patch 1.03. At the end of each elevator stage, players will now receive  Green Health Orbs and Blue Magic Orbs. This change is reflected across all difficulty settings.

In addition to that, Sony has also introduced several “Marks” which they can use to customize their champions in the multiplayer mode. They’re six of them in total. These marks can be further tailored to your taste by choosing among eight different tints, or “Ash” as Sony would like us to call them

The developer has promised that they are currently looking into the audio issues that still plague the game, and promises a fix soon. More DLC is also said to be rolled out in the coming weeks, which further additions to the game’s multiplayer, including a new unannounced fourth weapon class.
